This Amrex Synchrosonic US/54 unit features a combination Ultrasound and 4 pad Low Volt Muscle Stimulator. This popular unit provides muscle stimulation through 2 channel, 4 pad application and therapeutic ultrasound through a lightweight ergonomically designed transducer. Modalities may be combined or applied separately. The Ultrasound transducer is sealed for underwater therapy and has a variable output mode. The stimulator can be applied through the transducer for combination therapy. It has a reciprocal mode, 1-80 pulses per second, dual intensity controls, variable surge mode, safety reset circuit, CSA approved and a two year warranty on the generator and one year on the transducer.
Combination therapy plays an important role in today's modern practice. It allows for the expansion of treatment capabilities by combining therapeutic ultrasound with low volt muscle stimulation. The US/54 also features the patient treatment stop switch. Designed to promote patient assurance, the treatment stop switch allows the patient to discontinue stimulator output at the press of a button.
